Why do we blog?

I know nobody really reads this. And I wonder why I keep on typing away... Why anybody else does it either? Beats me. Sometimes I feel kinda silly because I feel like a columnist wannabe... Maybe that is the reason people have blogs, huh? I mean if you want to keep a diary, why publish it to the whole world? Diaries are supposed to be private, right? Or maybe because sometimes people have things that they want to say or tell but don't know where to channel it? Maybe... Like me. Anyway, that brings me to another thought... why do we like to read other people's blog? Well.. that's another story, huh? Till then, this is the columnist wannabe signing off.

I know. We blog and blog and sometimes it seems that only our friends read it, and only if we remind them daily. With bribery. And threats.

To me, blogging is my way of screaming at the world for the built-in unfairness and rampant stupidity that seem to grip society so tightly.

What's ultimately the most important though is that when the whole thing does come crashing down, you can say, "I told you so".

That's when the Wall Street Journal will sit up and take notice of you, syndicate your column, and pressure you to change everything you do to make it more 'commercial'.

Hang in there.
