If thursday was a long day, friday is longer! Just because you're not married, no one is waiting for you, doesn't mean that everybody else is in the same position. Take a reality check once in a while!
Friday started and continued like any ordinary day until the very last hour before I packed to go back. Then one of the bosses said that my director said that everybody has to stay back to prepare for some crap. Well, okay, it wasn't crap... it was important and it was the minister's order... But why does EVERYBODY has to stay back especially when one is not needed there? And please TRY to understand that my journey home after 5pm, would take AT LEAST 1½ hours. And what did I have to do? Called my boss who was still on leave... to ask one lousy question, whose reply didn't really help anyone.
In the end, I left at 8.15pm, only to realize I only had RM4 in my wallet. Wasn't enough for my journey home, which would cost rm7. Who do I ask? My boss... hmmm, tak payah. Baik aku jalan kaki... marah punye pasal. Segan sebenarnye. The walk to the ATM is so dark, and at this hour, it is ridiculous. I doubt there would be anyone there. So what did I do? Well, board the bus to the commuter, took the commuter to KL Sentral, withdrew money and board the commuter again back to Seremban. I reached Seremban at 11.40pm, had McD (for the third time in the past 2 days) for dinner... and reached my house at 12 midnight. Doesn't make sense to me... working my ass like this for nothing... but frustration and disappointment from my kids.
I know, it was my choice to live in Seremban... but, please... can't she try to understand. Everybody has their reasons for things you know... And I have mine for living in Seremban, working in Putrajaya.
